Setenil de las Bodegas is known for its whitewashed houses built into the surrounding cliffs. The town’s hilltop castle was once an Arab fortress.


Antequera - El Torcal

Almodovar del Rio

Castillo de Almodavoar del Rio is a Medieval castle of Muslim origin. Some scenes of Game of Thrones were filmed in this castle for series 7 of the show.

Zuheros is a mountain village home to a   "Cheese Fiesta" held in September of each year. It is famous for its beautiful hiking routes and the Bats Cave (Cueva de los Murcielagos)


Lucena - Ermita de la Virgen de Araceli

The 16th century Santuario de Araceli is located at 900 meters of altitude and from here you can see 5 out of the 8 provinces of Andalusia. Some scenes from the Almodovar film 'Talk to Her' were taken here.


Iznajar - Playa del Vedearenas

Iznajar has a 8th century castle and stunning views of the reservoir below. The reservoir has a sandy beach with pedalos, umbrelas, and a good seafood restaurant nearby.
